Yahukimo, May 15, 2025 – The Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) of Yahukimo Regency successfully conducted a Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) distribution program on Thursday morning, May 15, 2025, in Dekai District. The activity took place from 09:00 to 12:00 WIT and proceeded safely and smoothly.
The event was led by the Head of SPPG, Wardia Zain, S.Gz, supported by team members including Administrator/Accountant Shindy Alfiani Nindyana, S.Ak, Nutritionist Serpy Hona Kobak, S.Tr.,Gz, and 47 other workers.
Preparations began in the early morning, with cooking starting at 03:00 WIT and meal portioning at 06:00 WIT. Distribution to beneficiaries began at 09:00 WIT and was completed by 12:00 WIT.
A total of 995 students from various educational institutions received the meals. The beneficiaries were distributed as follows:
Preschool and Kindergarten:

TK Attaqwa (56 students)
TK Kasih Bunda (44 students)
TK Kristen Yahukimo (45 students)
TK YPPGI Imanuel Dekai (22 students)
TK Advent Dekai (17 students)

SMP Kristen Yahukimo (46 students)

SMA Kristen Yahukimo (6 students)
SMK Negeri 2 (147 students)
The meal package included white rice, fried egg with sauce, fried tofu, capcay (mixed vegetables), and orange fruit. This initiative is part of SPPG Yahukimo’s effort to combat malnutrition, particularly among school-aged children.
SPPG extended its gratitude to all parties who supported the program and expressed hope that similar initiatives will continue to promote the health and well-being of Yahukimo’s younger generation.
