Yan Mandenas: Young, Intelligent, and Nationalist

The name Yan Permenas Mandenas is increasingly recognized on the national political stage. This young politician from Papua is widely known for his intelligence, strong voice, and deep sense of nationalism. Born in Merauke in 1981, Yan Mandenas began his political career from the grassroots. He once served as Chairman of the Indonesian Youth National Committee (KNPI) in Papua and has long been active in various youth forums and advocacy of strategic issues concerning Papua. His concern for the advancement of his region and people led him to the national stage as a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) from the Gerindra Party.
